I would rather be in rocky point right about now since that’s where I go every summer which never gets old. The view in Mexico is beautiful, but it is also so humbling to be in that side of the train tracks. To begin, it’s inspiring to see how hard people work every day but also the detail to houses and restaurants. Every house does not look the same and I love it. Every home you see has a story; it may not be perfect and nice, but it has history. The beaches so beautiful and full of people from different places. Let’s not forget the very great people you meet along the way, the places you see, the big ships full of rust but yet functional. Rocky point will always be the place for me. I’ve always had love for Mexico and maybe I’m being biased because that’s where my family is from but to me Mexico is full of light. Yes, many want to be rich and full of money but rich to me is a different meaning and that’s everything I see when I go to rocky point. (Rich to me is having a healthy household, health, a roof over our heads and being able to pay basic needs:))
