Heartstopper is a new show on Netflix. the show follows a boy named Charlie who just recently came out to everyone at school. He is one of few openly gay people at his school, and because of this he got bullied pretty hard. You see Charlie try and be in a relationship with a popular boy, but he wants to keep it hidden and treats Charlie badly when other people are around. Charlie is fed up with this and dumps him but only to realizes he is falling for someone else. The captain of the rugby team Nick Nelson. You follow the two trying to figure out who they are while falling for each other. It is so cute and a great coming of age story especially for the LGBT+ community. It has great representation and a storyline to back it up. If you are someone who loves a good first love story that reminds you of how you felt around your first love, then this is the show for you.
