Yesterday I watched the Disney movie Luca and I have to say it was entertaining. For one the setting took place on the coast of Italy which was interesting because I cannot remember a Disney movie taking place there before, anyways the main cast consist of Luca, Alberto, and Giulia. Luca is a sea monster and like the rest of them has the ability to turn into a human when he dries off but turns back with water. Alberto is the same as Luca, and Giulia is a human Italian girl visiting Italy for the summer. So, the story is about the curious Luca who has an interest in the human world but is scared that people won’t accept him because he is a sea monster. Early on he meets Alberto who tells Luca how great the world is and they decide on venturing it together on a motorbike, later down the line they meet Giulia and she tells him that there an upcoming race that is won can buy get them the money they need for a motorbike. All three of them decide to partner up for the race stumbling upon issues that could cause Luca and Alberto to be hunted because Giulia has no clue what they are. In the end, the movie is a great family-friendly comedy to watch with friends or family I would recommend watching it.
