My name is Farah Naz. I have re-entered into academics as I plan to change my career from a homemaker to become a physician assistance. I earned my Bachelor of Science degree from Pakistan. I currently live in Glendale, Arizona and working part-time job at Walgreens. When not working, I do enjoy cooking various foods and often experiment with fusion foods for my two kids and husband. After a full busy day with the kids, I like to unwind by watching TV. My recent favorite is on Amazon’s comedy series ‘The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.’ I enjoy traveling both domestically and internationally. Our recent trips include Mexico, United Arab Emirates and Pakistan. The various cultures and their food always find a way to capture my imagination. Despite the language barrier, I find the cultures to be unique and, in many ways, no different than the one I was brought up in Pakistan. 
The purpose of taking this class is to improve my writing skills at Glendale Community College. I hope to gain critical thinking, vocabulary and become articulated in my both oral and written styles. I am not too familiar with the online classes process. This will be a huge challenge for me as I enjoy more in-person learning. However, I am accepting this challenge to my personal growth. I will continue to work on my communication skills along with taking other pre-requisite courses for my degree. Lastly, I am looking forward to being an engaging student in the class and meeting everyone virtually.
