It’s important to accept pushback on proposed solutions and ideas as it can be held akin to suggested revisions. Next to nothing is perfect on its first try. No modern game is perfect at launch, often needing dozens of updates, patches and otherwise before reaching its final form. No recipe – when created by oneself – is perfect on the first writing, often needing a few attempts to get the process, the measurements, ingredients, and flavors to their desired end point. No car was perfect in its first model, as times, technology, and consumers have changed and gave feedback on what they want out of an automobile. No paper is perfect the first time through, needing multiple phases of revision and reworking until it is to its final state. No book, no show, no movie, next to nothing is perfect on its first shot. Everything, in every form, needs to be iterated, to be revised, to be reexamined, understood again and presented again before it can be accepted as perfect or even acceptable for general consumption. So pushback against the solutions we present to our problems are likely not going to be perfect the first go around. We will have factors we missed, limitations we forgot, or even simply overestimated ourselves or underestimated our problem so far as to present an imperfect or even illogical solution.
