For my propose a solution, I chose to have a parent night when they could learn how to have a better relationship with their child and how they could help them with their school things. If this was brought into all schools, it would help so many parents that feel disconnected from their child. A lot of parents are unable to feel close or help because the curriculum has changed vastly from when they were in school. Children nowadays are also not taught the same things and sometimes not even at all. Having a child is hard and it can be even harder when you have multiple children, especially if they all vary in age. If you had a night like this it would allow the parent to be one-on-one with their child and their learning. The fact that technology is such a big difference in school now is, what I think, the biggest factor. When parents were growing up most things, if not all, were on paper. Now they have to learn how to use the things on the computer and also help their children learn how. Overall, it’s a learning process for everyone involved. With just a few nights here and there, it would help tremendously all around for everyone to learn a bit clearer.
